Department of Veteran Affairs Veteran Benefits Administration Document Conversion Services
SES provides program and technical management services to TREX Corporation in support of the VA’s Veteran Benefits Administration DCS program. The DCS program is the VA effort to convert all paper claims to electronic format. SES program managers have developed a comprehensive operations management package that is used to conduct the daily management of the operations effort. SES staff also ensures that all external interfaces are tested and monitors their performance during operations.
United States Bureau of the Census Technical Integrator Program
SES is supporting the 2020 U.S. Census Technical Integrator Program with subject matter expertise. SES’s team is focused on Test, Technical Integration, Decennial Architecture, Business Process Modeling, Systems and Requirements Engineering, Integration Management, Project Management and Analysis to provide solutions for a system of systems.
CIO Application Maintenance, Enhancements, and Operations Small Business (CAMEO SB) Program
SES provides IT support for the CAMEO program. This program supports GSA’s Office of Chief Information Officer with a highly transformative approach to updating the Federal Acquisition Service’s (FAS) business systems.
Housing and Urban Development Information Technology Services (HUD HITs)
SES provided network architecture and engineering support to Lockheed Martin in support of the HUD HITs program.
2010 US Census Bureau Decennial Response Integration System (DRIS)
SES was a key member of the Lockheed Martin Decennial Response Integration System (DRIS) Team. SES deployed and maintained the data center located in Greenbelt, MD, deployed and supported all development and test environments, provided technical training, developed detailed test plans and provided architecture and design expertise in virtualization and highly available system components and clusters. SES Corporation had the primary responsibility for the design, development, and documentation around the entire server and storage infrastructure that was used at all three 2010 Data Capture Centers. SES was responsible for developing the overall Test Strategy and provided several key test resources in support of the system integration, system readiness test, and operational readiness test efforts.
National Archives Electronic Records Archive Program (ERA)
The ERA program is NARA’s initiative to electronically organize all of their Electronic Records so that they may be available for the “Life of the Republic.” SES’ responsibilities included infrastructure design, COTS integration, and systems integration on the ERA program. SES provided architecture, system test, infrastructure development, deployment, and operations support services to Lockheed Martin on this program.
2006 Canadian Census Outsourcing Program
SES provided test, integration, deployment, and operations support services to the 2006 Canadian Census. SES’ primary goals were to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components and to provide an automated deployment solution for both Microsoft Windows and AIX solutions. SES executed performance tests and tuned Internet and Telephone response channels effectively so as to provide a web based solution that truly met the performance needs of the client.
US Customs and Border Patrol, e-Customs Partnership (eCP)
SES provided development, testing and infrastructure support of the Automated Commercial Environment system for Lockheed Martin in support of the US Customs and Border Patrol modernization effort. SES operated as an integral part of the e-Customs Partnership and worked closely with Lockheed Martin, IBM, and CSC.
2001 United Kingdom Census
Employees of SES offered technical guidance and expertise in test, integration, deployment and operational support of the UK Census. SES developed the deployment solution and conducted the deployment at the Data Capture Center. SES helped overcome challenges and met operational milestones associated with growing system requirements during operations.
Navy Marine Corp Intranet
SES partnered with other small businesses to recruit and train individuals involved with the integration and deployment of over 60 Storage Area Networks throughout the United States that were co-developed by Electronic Data Systems and supported by Dell Computer.
United States Census Bureau Data Capture System 2000 (DCS 2000)
SES led teams in the deployment of all 4 Data Capture Centers. SES employees provided system support and training of the Data Capture System to technical personnel located at the data centers throughout the United States. In addition, our employees were placed in key technical positions throughout the development and integration and test teams.
International Census Practice Programs (2011 United Kingdom Census and Canada 2011)
SES is an integral partner of the United Kingdom Census 2011. Similar to our work on the DRIS 2010 program, SES Corporation has the responsibility for developing the server and storage infrastructure solution. SES Corporation also had the responsibility for the deployment and ongoing operational maintenance of both UK Census 2011 Data Centers. SES employees serve in system test functions as well as system integration and systems management functions. SES plays an integral role in the performance testing of system components by analyzing and tuning the Internet and Web Self Help segments to ensure the utmost performance for the public during peak processing periods. SES successfully tested the Internet and Web Self Help segments to 172,000 concurrent users. Given SES’ Census practice domain knowledge, SES was selected to provide five field engineering support resources during operations at the production facility in the UK. SES currently continues to provide web performance testing expertise to the UK Census organization on their economic indicator release website.
Federal Bureau of Investigation Next Generation Identification System (NGI)
SES provides System Integration and Test (SIT) resources to Lockheed Martin as part of the NGI program. These resources are skilled in web services testing with specific focus on system accuracy and performance-related test scenarios. In addition to performing as individual contributors on the test team, SES staff led the accuracy and performance test teams to develop and execute the procedures required to test the associated system requirements. A 100% pass rate of all accuracy and performance requirements was achieved.
Department of Commerce (DOC) Press Lockup Room
The Department of Commerce (DOC) operates a “press lockup room” which permits members of the press to assemble for receiving releases of economic data (known as Principal Federal Economic Indicators), such as Gross Domestic Product. SES provides architecture and engineering support to TREX Corporation in support of the DOC Press Lockup Room modernization initiative. SES is responsible for the overall design and installation of all equipment required for the modernization of the press lockup room.
Non-Disclosed, Infrastructure Expansion Project
SES is designing and integrating a scalable high-performance infrastructure to support the integration of next generation audio, video, and data content.
United States Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS)
SES provides IT support for the ACS. The ACS helps local officials, community leaders and businesses understand the changes taking place in their communities. It is the premier source for detailed information about the American people and workforce.
